The STEC Ripper is a single-shank ripper for MIDI excavators (6–10 t), designed for breaking up frost, compacted ground and fractured rock. It is suited to site preparation, trenching and foundation work where hard material needs to be loosened before excavation with a bucket.
The single-shank design concentrates the excavator’s breakout force at the point of contact for controlled ground penetration. Its narrow working profile supports targeted loosening in confined areas, making it a practical attachment for utility projects, landscaping and general construction.
